HCC COVID-19 Procedures
- In an effort to maintain social distancing on the pool deck, a reservation system with be implemented at the pool.Reservations slots will be available from 10:00-12:30, 12:30-2:00, 2:00-4:30, and 4:30-7:00. You will be able to make these reservations on the Hillcrest Country Club website under the pool tab. Any family can only reserve up to 2 slots per day, to assist with any member who is interested in coming to the pool having the opportunity to do so.
- The pool deck has been sectioned off into “Cabanas” in a further effort to maintain social distancing.We a couple larger “Cabanas” that will accommodate up to 6 people, with the rest of the “Cabanas” being for 5 people or less.
- The Locker Room and Showers in the pool house will be blocked off to begin the season and may reopen later in the season as restrictions and guidance from the Health Department changes and evolves.The bathroom areas will continue to be open.
- The Snack Shop counter will be moved to a half door right inside of the pool house to help assist with social distancing inside the building.Right outside of the pool house is an area with 4 tables that is to be used only for the consumption of food and beverage.
- All contact surfaces will be cleaned in the morning and on-going throughout the day. Whenever staff is not actively guarding the pool, they will be required to wear face coverings.Members and guests are not required to wear masks when in their “cabanas” or walking around the pool deck. However, a mask is prohibited if sitting on the edge of the pool or in the pool.
- In an effort to assist with arrivals and departures at the pool, we ask that, when practical, you enter the pool area from the gate outside of Diddels and exit the pool area through the gate by the pool house.
- Towels will not be provided this year at the pool; each member or guest is responsible for providing their own towel.
- A decision was made to not field a formal swim team this year due to uncertainty surrounding whether a season with other area clubs would even occur.We are planning, when the time is right, to have an informal, in-house swim team to keep everyone excited about swim team and grow the program in preparation for next year.
